Agency Lead - Brand

Reference #7320

Build an agency. Win the work. Leave your mark.

YOU

Our client is looking for a commercially minded leader to build and grow a newly established brand offering across Australasia. This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a position and maintain the status quo. It's for someone who wants to create something.

Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you'll have the backing of a globally recognised business and the autonomy to shape its next stage of growth. You'll influence the direction of this newly established agency, build and lead the team, grow the client base, and establish a market-leading reputation across Australia and New Zealand.

At the heart of this role is business development and growth.

Our client is looking for someone with the credibility, network and commercial drive to turn opportunity into revenue. You'll thrive on opening doors, building relationships, leading pitches and creating long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers. You'll be highly visible in the market, using your existing connections and commercial instincts to build a strong pipeline and identify new opportunities for growth.

You'll have a proven background in client service and account leadership within a design-led consultancy or brand agency environment. More importantly, you'll have a track record of growing a business, understand the commercial realities of agency life, and know how to bring clients, strategy and creative teams together to deliver exceptional outcomes.

You'll also be a proven people leader. An established team of ten across Australia and New Zealand is already in place, backed by the resources and reach of the existing Australasian business. You'll be responsible for developing, mentoring and growing that capability as the agency evolves, creating a culture people want to be part of while helping shape the future structure and scale of the business.

Commercial leadership will be second nature to you. Experience across business planning, forecasting, pricing, utilisation, P&L management and team performance will be essential.

Working closely with your existing team of creative, design and industry specialists, you'll ensure great thinking translates into commercially successful and impactful outcomes for your clients.

Regular travel across Australia and New Zealand will form part of the role as you build stronger connections across the agency locations and continue to grow your client base.

Above all, we're looking for someone entrepreneurial — someone energised by the challenge of building an agency, winning new clients, growing a team and creating something with lasting impact.

THEM

Our client is a globally recognised business with an exceptional reputation for delivering meaningful work.

With an established presence across Australasia and a deeply collaborative culture, they are investing heavily in the future of their offering. You'll be joining at a pivotal moment, with the opportunity to shape the direction, culture and commercial success of the company while working alongside some of the region's most respected leaders.

The business offers flexible working, additional annual leave, wellbeing and medical support, bonus opportunities and genuine long-term career growth.
