Creative Director (Brand)
Reference #7315
If you’ve been waiting for the kind of role where you can build something meaningful from the ground up, this could be your moment….
YOU
Our client is looking for an exceptional Creative Director (Brand & Experience) to help shape and lead a brand-new creative offering across Australasia. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where creative vision, business growth, and team leadership all play an equally important part.
Based in Auckland, Sydney, or Melbourne, this role will see you leading multidisciplinary creative work spanning brand strategy, spatial and digital experience, and placemaking projects. You’ll work closely with executive leadership while helping establish a creative practice that connects strategy, design, and experience in a meaningful and commercially successful way.
You’ll be someone who has already built a strong reputation within the creative industry — whether through branding, experience design, environmental graphics, wayfinding, cultural storytelling, or an integrated mix of all of these. You’ll bring a portfolio of influential work, strong industry relationships, and the ability to inspire both clients and teams alike.
This role requires someone who is both creatively ambitious and commercially astute. You’ll help shape the direction of the practice, win new business, lead major client relationships, and guide creative output from early thinking through to delivery. You’ll also play a key role in building culture, mentoring talent, and creating processes and ways of working that support a high-performing team.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building and leading teams, bringing people together around strong ideas and shared goals. You’ll be collaborative, entrepreneurial, strategically minded, and confident operating at a senior level.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-level brand and experience projects is essential. Proven experience managing financial performance, including forecasting, pricing, utilisation, and P&L responsibility, will also be important in this role. You’ll also bring an established New Zealand and/or Australian network across the creative and design industries, along with the credibility to build strong long-term client relationships.
THEM
Our client is a globally recognised, design-led business with an outstanding reputation for delivering meaningful work. With studios across Australasia and a deeply collaborative culture, they are now investing in a new creative offering focused on brand, experience, and placemaking.

Benefits include flexible working, additional annual leave, wellbeing and medical support, bonus opportunities, and long-term growth pathways within the business.
