We're searching for a Senior UX/UI designer to join this role. You'll have at least 8 years + experience in UX design working predominantly on digital projects in a consulting, agency or in-house space and will also be very familiar with all delivery digital technologies.
In this role, you'll act as the go-to person for guidance and best practices on how users interact with digital services. You'll define problems with our wider technology team, apply a robust design process to user interface development and work closely with solution architects as well as the developers to be more user-centred and show them what's possible within the technology constraints.
To be successful in this role, you'll require experience working on Figma, Axure, Adobe CS, Mural or Miro and HTML/CSS (ability to interrogate, not required to code proficiently).
You will have specific skills, knowledge and experience in Interaction and navigation design, Wireframe Development, User Research, and Design process management. You should also be familiar with Development and technology awareness together with some UX writing understanding and Agile methods of working.
You'll be a self-starter, practical and pragmatic. You'll be happy to push and challenge as well as be challenged back and have the ability to work under pressure. This role would require some occasional travel to the Wellington office and other locations as required for project work.
