LEGO® Serious Play® is back!

Reference #6466

Great news...it’s now COVID-19 Level 2, so that means we can run LEGO® Serious Play® sessions again!

“What's LEGO® Serious Play®?” It’s the most fun you can have in a workshop, especially if you need to strategise (or help your clients strategise), brainstorm, or problem-solve.

LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) is a workahop methodology originally created and developed in the 1990s by Professors Johan Roos and Bart Victor, and the LEGO Company, “as a way to enable managers to describe, create and challenge their views of their business.

LSP is unique, highly-interactive, fun and grounded in neuroscience. Each workshop is based around a carefully-structured process and involves ‘hands-on, minds-on’ exercises using specific LEGO bricks, accessories, animals and minifigures. LSP creates a way to tap an organisation’s collective knowledge to enhance business performance, innovate, and encourage organisational development. It's a great way to help teams to think and work together.

The traditional way to use LEGO bricks is to build models that represent tangible objects from the physical ‘outside’ world (such as ships, castles, houses, etc.). LSP uses LEGO to build models that represent intangible objects from the ‘inner’ world (such as concepts, ideas, emotions, thoughts and connections). Think of LSP like a 3D printer for your ideas.

The power of LSP comes from it being 100% inclusive, creative, collaborative, backed up by science, grounded in storytelling, and - most of all - that it gets results (and it's super-fun too).
