We are on the hunt for an experienced, client-facing SAM or Account Director with a solid background in customer communications. That means you may have a client-side comms background or possibly have worked in a PR or advertising agency (or a mixture).
This is a permanent role which can be full-time, or 4 days/week if that suits you better.
You will work predominantly on one insurance account, plus a small amount of work for a not-for-profit client. The majority of your work will be customer communications and crisis communications.
You will love the execution side of project management - able to push work through the agency across usual BTL channels, including DM, eDMs, marketing automation, print, social, video production, etc. Plus there will be more comms-focused work, including mailout plans, strategic planning, segmentation, touchpoints, execution, copywriting, etc.
You do not have to have a background in handling big data (although some data-handling knowledge would be advantageous). Nor do you have to be highly strategic (though that would be a bonus), as much of the strategy work will be done by your colleagues.
It is essential that you can talk confidently in the language of direct marketing with your internal team and with your C-suite clients.
You will need to be exceptionally detail-oriented - almost 'forensic' in your approach; a confident communicator, with an excellent level of verbal and written English; and be process-driven. You'll have energy to burn, and ready to work with a fast-paced, exciting, vibrant team.
